Hi I'm Nicole

I'm an American teenager, I love playing the piano, I'm the oldest of five kids, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Nicole, and I was born in Provo, Utah. My dad's in the military, so we've moved around quite a bit. You'd think I would have gotten used to it by now... but I'm not. After I finally get settled in though, it seems like I get even better friends, and it really helps my family get closer, because for the first three months, they're really all I have. I love music. I started playing the piano when I was 6 or 7 years old, and then about a year later I picked up the violin. I still play both and I'm in my high school orchestra and choir. Another thing I love doing is reading. My mom used to ground me by not letting me read. Yeah, my social life suffered as a ten-year-old :) My family... My younger brother is smart, funny, and he plays the piano, cello and he sings. He's also the loudest and the one with the hottest temper, but we love him anyway ;) My youngest brother is more on the lazy side, but he's cute and is really good at making people laugh. My two sisters are sweet chatterboxes and they love helping around the house. My dad is balding, which we tease him about all the time; he's really patient and always ready to help with whatever we have going on, no matter how exhausted he is. My mom is the busiest in our family. She does most of the driving, writes checks for school programs, buys the groceries, works part-time during school hours and makes dinner. It's the good life!

Why I am a Mormon

The Church is what has kept me going with my busy schedule. It's where I've made the majority of my friends and it's the largest part of who I am. I have often tried to imagine what my life would be like if I were not a member of this church, and every time I try, I can't see myself being happy. Because of my religion, I know my Savior and I continue to learn more about Him every day. There is never a time when Christ will deny our pleads for His loving embrace. I also know that He loves me. Because of my faith, I have hope in the Atonement, and I know that I can be forgiven for any sin that I commit as long as I turn to my Father and my Savior, Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints teaches a lot about service. I am currently serving a mission for my church in the Villahermosa-Mexico mission and I absolutely love it. Wouldn't be happier anywhere else.
