Hi I'm Sharene

I am grateful to be alive each day. I love being a wife and mother, and feeling God's love every day. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Before our first child was born, I worked as an occupational therapist. Those years of schooling and working were so meaningful to me. I got to meet teenagers and adults who were such great examples to me - working hard to overcome huge trials and not giving up. They taught me to be grateful every day to be alive. I also was able to work with wonderful children who brought me such happiness. Even though I sometimes miss my former job, I get to do something that is even more enjoyable and meaningful to me now - I get to take care of my kids and be a part of their lives and my husband's life every day.

Why I am a Mormon

I feel so much peace because of the gospel. From the Bible and Book of Mormon and the prophet and apostles who are alive today, I have learned about God's plan for us. I have felt the Spirit (feelings of love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith - Galatians 5:22) teach me over and over again that Heavenly Father loves all of us and that Jesus Christ came to the earth to atone for all of our sins and that Christ is our Savior. I love being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

How I live my faith

I try to teach my children that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love us. I try to teach them that we will feel peace and joy when we strive to live the way Heavenly Father wants us to live - loving and serving our fellow men and keeping the commandments. I try to help those around me and show kindness in ways that Christ would.
