I'm LDS (Mormon) and a father of 4 daughters.

About Me

I am married to a beautiful and talented wife. I am a father of 4 daughters, one of which is currently attending BYU. I have 7 brothers and sisters, 10 step brothers and sisters. A plethora of nieces and nephews. A wonderful father, mother and stepmother. Our family camps, hikes and fly fishes. We also occasionally kayak.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because as a boy growing up, especially as a scout, I was given opportunity to learn about God and the world around me and then encouraged and given the opportunity to ask God myself if he were there. Through God speaking to my heart, I knew he was listening and that His Son, Jesus was sent to redeem me.

How I live my faith

I am have been a Scoutmaster for the last 4 years. The second week of August 2011 we went on a 35-40 mile hike with boys 12-14 years old over 6 days. It was a rewarding experience to see them grow and learn they can do very hard things! Recently I have been given the opportunity for a new assignment as a early morning seminary teacher of youth before they go to school 5 days a week. I also meet with 3 family's monthly in their homes or care facility to teach them and inquire of their needs so they feel cared for, loved and supported. Last year I baptized my youngest daughter at the age of 8 and recently I gave my daughters fathers blessings before continuing a new year of school.
