Hi I'm Kathryn

I'm a history education major and a football fanatic. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a student attending college majoring in History Education. During High School my life revolved around theatre and music (although it still does today). My favorite football team are the Greenbay Packers and have been since I was born. Right now the majority of my friends are out serving missions in hope to share what we believe with others. Writing and sending packages to them brings me happiness.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I have always had a love for the gospel and want to better myself and others. Being a member gives me courage and hope for the future. Courage to continually strive to live the standards and be a light unto others, and hope that others will recognize how happy I am, and want to share that joy. I believe that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the only true church upon the earth, and that Joseph Smith was called to restore it for the benefit of all. To me this means there will always be something worth striving for.

How I live my faith

I love giving my time in the service of others. I recently had the opportunity to travel to an elderly woman's house to clean and perform tasks she was not able to. Whenever I see people asking for money on the street, I give them what I can. Many say this is a foolish thing to do, but it's not up to me what they use it for, however it is up to me to give. During church on Sundays I'm blessed with the chance to play and teach children in my ward. Wherever I go I try to have a cheerful disposition to try and make someone else's day a little brighter.
