Hi I'm Erica

I'm from western Washington, and currently a college student in Idaho. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest of five kids. I have played basketball for ten years. I love playing and watching sports of all kinds. I am a Sophomore in college going for a English degree with a teaching emphasis. I love doing community service, and helping others. I am preparing to go on a mission, and serve my Heavenly Father.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that Christ lives, and loves me and each and every person out there. I have had my struggles in life, and with help from my church leaders, and Heavenly Father I have been able to overcome them, and grow. I was born, and raised in the church, but have come to learn, and gain my own testimony of the Gospel. I continue learning, and growing in the gospel each day I read my scriptures, and pray to my Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

In Young Womens I always had a calling whether it be first counselor or president I was always involved. I did a lot of community service, and still do. Once I turned eighteen I was asked to serve as a teacher over children of various ages. I loved teaching, and hope that I will be again asked to teach. I live my faith the most by wearing my Young Womens medallion. I worked so hard serving, and learning new things, so that I would pass each of my goals to earn my medallion. Now people ask me all the time what my necklace means, and I love being able to share what it means, and how to get one. Now that I am an adult I am beginning my visiting teaching where I go teach, and help certain people that I am asked to. I love being able to help others, and am so glad I get the chance to teach people about the gospel each week.
