Hi I'm Kristi Barrientos

I am one blessed daughter of God & I'm a Mormon :)

About Me

I'm pretty ambitious and adventurous. I love playing soccer and dancing! I'm working on getting my bachelor's degree in political science and hoping to go to law school. I'm a dork when it comes to school and I love playing videogames. I enjoy hiking and spending quality time with my family. The church has shown me that families can be together for eternity. I've gone through many challenges in life..and I know that without this wonderful gospel I wouldn't be where I am today :).

Why I am a Mormon

At the age of 18, I felt the need to find myself. I was at a point in my life where my prayer's needed to be answered. Although I had been attending different churches I had never felt the feeling of the holy ghost as when I walked in to the LDS church building. After attending and praying for several months to see if the church was true. I finally got an answer. Nothing else has brought so much joy to my life. I'm a Mormon because I know the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is true. We each have a purpose on this earth today and that is to live as worthy and virtous as our savior Jesus Christ. I have a testimony that as we follow the examples of Jesus Christ and continue to live worthy and follow the teachings of the gospel we will return back to our heavenly father. Nothing in this world has brought so much peace to me.

How I live my faith

I attend to my calling and go to church every sunday. I take up every opportunity I get to help out others and enjoy inviting people to learn about my faith. I go to institute classes which gives me a break from stressing out from school and it allows me learn more about the gospel. I have currently joined the LDSSA organization on campus and I am currently preparing myself for serving a mission which in return I hope to share my testimony to others around my area :).
