Hi I'm Jason

I work for ServiceMaster. I'm a husband. I'm a dad. I have imperfections & make mistakes. I believe. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a project manager for ServiceMaster. I'm married & have 4 children. I love to play basketball, football @ softball. I love to watch NFL football & like the Denver Broncos. I have a French Mastiff named Marley. I went back to school at 31 and graduated valedictorian this past June at 33. We are moving to Salt Lake City to start our own ServiceMaster in December. I grew up in a broken home and lived a troubled life from the ages of 15-21. Both my parents were drug addicts & convicts, my father went to prison before I was born. I never met him & my mother has never escaped the life of drugs. My Aunt & Uncle raised me along with my grandparents. They all instilled in me the foundation of love, work, manners & the morals that I use & appreciate today. I have overcome drug & alcohol abuse, jail, practised Islam and many other life lessons along the way to becoming a Mormon. I'm who I am today & where I am today because of these experiences. I was also blessed to have been given a great woman to believe in me and see me for more than I was when she met me. I couldn't have turned my life around without my wonderful wife.

Why I am a Mormon

I was invited to come to the General Conference in 2008 by the missionaries(they were teaching our daughter who was 10 at the time). I wasn't very interested in the talks until President Uchtdorf started to speak in his talk " A matter of a few degrees", it was as if he was speaking directly to me. I knew my life was not on the path that Heavenly Father wanted it to be on & even though I didn't know everything about the church and still had doubts...I couldn't deny the feeling that I had during that talk & decided I wanted to be baptized. I was baptized the next week & baptized my daughter the following week.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by helping those around me in whatever ways that I see possible. My job as a Disaster Restorations Project Manager takes me into the homes of many people during a tough time of their lives. Getting to know them and helping them get their lives back to normal gives me a lot of happiness. I try to see them as people & not just another job. I especially enjoy getting to know and talk with the widows that I encounter. Spending time with them makes me the happiest and makes me feel I am doing as our Savior would be.
