Hi I'm Ashley

I'm a wife and pastry chef. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm Ashley, I love to bake and read. I love spending time with my husband and our families. I enjoy hiking and yoga. I make wedding cakes for family and friends and hope to own my own bakery one day. I love to make crafty things and I am always up for learning something new.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior and Redeemer. I know that God has a plan for me and that as we each follow His gospel and live our lives in accordance with His teachings that we are blessed and guided. I'm a Mormon because I have felt my Saviors love around me when life has been difficult and when I thought I wouldn't be able to make it through. I am a Mormon because through the Gospel of Jesus Christ I have come to know that there is more to this life than material possessions. I am a Mormon because my family and the people I care about mean more to me than anything else, what a blessing to know that through the Gospel of Jesus Christ families are forever.

How I live my faith

Living the Gospel of Jesus Christ makes my life more meaningful. I know that each day my husband and I are going to go our seperate ways as we work and provide for our family. But I feel blessed to know that we will reunite every evening and that we will not only enjoy being together but that we will kneel together and offer thanks to our Father in Heaven for blessing us with this life. I love that within the Gospel of Jesus Christ we can each serve one another. I feel better about myself and life when I am able to help those around me. My husband and I are blessed each week with the opportunity to teach some of the youth in our ward at church. We have become so much closer, not only to our Savior, but to the youth and each other as we study the Bible and the Book of Mormon and as we discuss the scriptures with the youth we have been asked to instruct. Living the Gospel has given me more confidence and the ability to reach outside of my comfort zone and get to know people. I have made many friendships and bonds with the people around me, whether they be Mormons or not. Living the Gospel makes my life sweet and I love that!
