Hi I'm Amy

I am married. I am a mother of six. I teach swim lessons. I have a Master's Degree in Education. I volunteer. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a mother to six wonderful, busy children, a teacher by profession and a stay at home mom by choice. I love children, and feeling of their enthusiasm and honesty. I've taught swimming to children for over half of my life. I love all kinds of music and I enjoy cleaning (seriously) but don't really like to be in the kitchen. I love the outdoors, and especially love a good thunderstorm. I am not an avid reader, but enjoy a good chick flick with a bowl of popcorn! I love my husband and best friend and together we make a great team.

Why I am a Mormon

I have always been a Mormon, it's who I am, how I live my life, and how I raise my children. I know who I am, a child of a loving Heavenly Father, why I am here, and I know where I'm going. I know that Jesus Christ's church has been restored to the earth once again through the Prophet Joseph Smith, and I am happy to belong to His kingdom. I know that how I live my life will determine where I go when my sojourn on this earth is over. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints brings peace and happiness to my life. My family means everything to me and I find comfort in knowing that I will be with them forever.

How I live my faith

I am a volunteer at the elementary, junior high and high schools where my children attend. I value education and understand the role I am in helping them to achieve all they can. I serve the children in our ward between the ages of 18 months and 11 years old. Each Sunday we meet together, sing songs, teach lessons and learn about the plan our Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ have for each of us.
