Hi I'm Jonathan

I am an Electrical Engineer. I like Legos, robots, and ice cream. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have a wonderful wife and five children. We have been in Colorado for just over a year and we enjoy it. I am an Electrical Engineer and I like designing circuits. Every chance I get, I teach my children about electronics and make projects with them. We have fun and learn and, most importantly, we build a strong relationship.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have felt God's love in my life. When I read the Book of Mormon and the Bible, I get a warm feeling inside that tells me that God knows who I am and that He loves me. I grew up as a Mormon. When I was in High School, I decided I needed to find out for myself if what I had been taught was true. I read the scriptures every night and I prayed afterward. I always felt good inside when I read the scriptures, but I assumed that was normal. One night, when I asked my Father in Heaven if Joseph Smith was one of His prophets, I felt a strong sense of peace and love in my heart. This was the answer to my question. I knew then that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints was Jesus' church.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to do what Jesus would do. He is the standard that I want to meet. I am a Webelos leader in Cub Scouts. I enjoy teaching these young men skills that will prepare them for adulthood and family life. It is neat to see them grow and develop into responsible citizens with a moral compass.
