Hi I'm Evan

I guess I am a Texan now. I love to build and play guitars. I love my beautiful wife and children and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband and a dad to four kids. We moved our famIly to Texas a year ago for a change in jobs. I am a nurse anesthetist.

Why I am a Mormon

My partents raised all seven of their children in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I was fifteen years old when I found out for myself that the church was true and that I could put my faith in our living prophet. Since that time I have had my testimony strengthened over and over. My wife and I have a special needs child and during her fight for life I learned that our Heavenly Father loves his children. I am a mormon because the Holy Ghost has touched my mind and heart many times confirming and reconfirming what I believe to be true about this church. The Lord has blessed me more than I deserve.

How I live my faith

I serve in my ward here in Texas. I work with all the young men in our church. I teach spiritually focused lessons to the young men on Sundays as well as serving as the Scoutmaster on the weekdays. This is an assignment that has been very rewarding. It is fun to work with the youth, in fact it is the most enjoyable calling I have had in the church. I try and be a good dad to my children and teach them the principles of the gospel and try and live by them.
