Hi I'm Carol

I'm a Mormon. I'm a mom, part time Occupational therapist, outdoor enthusiast, and a craft-aholic.

About Me

I graduated from Ohio State in Occupational therapy and moved to Spokane, Washington. There I met and married my husband and we have 3 little kids. I LOVE being a mom, and teaching my kids how to have fun and enjoy life. Our family loves to play outside, camp, swim, ride motorcycles and 4-wheelers. I also work occasionally as an OT and love my job, helping people become more independent.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into an LDS family and have continued in the faith for many reasons. The gospel has been a guide to me throughout my life in making decisions about where to go to school, where to live, who to marry and what kind of person to be. I have a strong testimony that Jesus is our Savior, and our link to our Heavenly Father. I know that He loves us personally and that He knows our needs and is ready to help us and give us direction whenever we need it. I love that we can pray to our Heavenly Father whenever we want and He always hears us. The gospel has been a great source of comfort to me when I have had questions and struggles about who I am, where I came from and the potential of what I can become. I love that we have scriptures available to us on a daily basis to give us knowledge and comfort. The gospel of Jesus Christ is one of the greatest blessings in my life.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith first by being the type of person that Jesus would want me to be. I try to pray and read the Bible and Book of Mormon to help me stay close to Him. I also work with the Youth of our church. I help lead the Young Women of my congregation and organize activities, teach Sunday lessons and help them to learn more about the Savior.
