Hi I'm Craig Wesselman

I am a stat geek. I like college sports. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the only member of my family to have graduated from college. I graduated with a Masters in statistics and currently work as a statistictian. I consider myself lucky to love what I do. I appreciate the opportunity I had to gain an education. I married over 12 years ago and have 2 beautiful daughters. It warms my soul to watch their progress as they grow. I enjoy watching sports, especially college football and basketball. I am very loyal to my alma mater, but have a couple of other colleges that I support mildly.

Why I am a Mormon

When I heard the message presented to me by the missionaries for the first time as a college freshman, what they said made sense to my spirit as well as my intellect. I have often described my experience as, "I felt that, in my mind and spirit, I had all the pieces of the puzzle to life, but the gospel put them in the proper place to complete the puzzle." I consider participating in the Church of Jesus Christ a great priveledge. I know as I obey our Heavenly Father, rich blessings are in store for me and my family.

How I live my faith

I currently work with the boys of our church in the scouts program. It is wonderful to experience their youthful excitement and watch them progress through the program. I rely heavily on the other scout leaders since I am relatively inexperienced. I enjoy being able to serve the boys and help them in any way possible. I also enjoy associating with other members of the congregation through entering their homes and ensuring their needs are being met.
