Hi I'm Brian

I love to laugh at my own jokes. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Salt Lake City. I loved to ski, play hockey, and fish. I'm now married to the girl of my dreams, and have four kids that I adore more and more each day. I live in Arizona and work for a software company. I still like to watch hockey, I think about fishing every once in awhile, and skiing is simply out of the question, but I do play racquetball to keep the blood flowing. My family is what I work for, and my family is where my greatest pleasure comes from.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up a member of the Church, but like anyone, needed to understand for myself if this gospel is true. When I was 18, I was challenged by my brother to find out for myself if the Book of Mormon was really the word of God. Because of the love and respect I have for my brother, I read it, prayed about it, and received an answer that it is true. Now out of the love and respect I have for the Lord, I choose to do my best to follow His example. I make more than my fair share of mistakes, but have the desire to make things right. I know that God lives, and I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior.

How I live my faith

I currently have the opportunity to teach the 18-30 year olds in our ward about the doctrines of the gospel of Christ, currently we are going through the New Testament. I really enjoy the perspective they share with me on the scriptures and on life. At home, my wife and I try to teach our children the gospel by serving those around us, and loving each other.
