Hi I'm Colin

I am a vocalist, I am a cyclist, I am an ASU engineering student, I can wiggle my ears and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am an avid bowler during the weekdays, and on the weekends I work in a live performing musical theatre doing both on-stage performances and backstage techincal work. I am planning on going to college for Systems Engineering and hope to become an officer in the Navy. I love to sing, play my violin and laugh. I am an Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America program. In my spare time I am watch the Food Network and mimic what I see. I served a mission in the Japan Tokyo Mission and Japan Tokyo South Mission from 2011-2013

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of the joy it brings to my life. There is something about the lifestyle it brings me. Life is stable as a Mormon and because of that, there is less stress weighting on my life. Through the Gospel of Jesus Christ I was able to been forgiven for my sins and truly feel the love that the Savior has for each and every one of us.

How I live my faith

I was a youth leader for young adults ages 12-18. I was there for them to bring them help and lift them when they were down. I helped plan activities on Wednesday nights where youth ages 12-18 could come and learn a skill, have fun or give back to the community through service. I teach the 16-18 year old youth about basic gospel principles. I work each day to be an example in my words, actions, and thoughts. It is not easy to do, but the rewards far outweigh the costs.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Mormons do not only help other Mormons. We want others to be able to live their lives in a way which the Lord would have us live. By donating our times, talents, efforts, and money to relief organizationsall over the world and even locally in our community, we as a church want others to be able to live their lives safety so they may focus their time on finding true happiness.
