Hi I'm Aaron

I'm a contractor. I'm a father. Like a great home, I build up my family on the sure foundation that is Jesus Christ, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have many interests. Form art and science to the beauties of the natural world, I love to learn and experience all I can. Building homes is my profession. I find a great deal of enjoyment in woodworking, cooking, raising cattle and children. In all of these things I marvel at the hidden potential locked inside the massive tree trunk or bright eyes of a new born baby. My greatest joy comes from my six children and wonderful wife.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been raised LDS. From the time that I first remember choosing for myself to follow Christ's teachings, I have recognized the peace that comes from being obedient to them. I know that Jesus Christ has restored his church in our day through the prophets He has called and continues to call and direct today. I'm a Mormon because I have received my own witness of true and living prophets called and authorized of God to guide His church in a tumultuous world. I know He has always provided leadership and guidance through His prophets for a fallen and degenerate world. Those who choose to follow His prophets have always found peace and protection amid despair and destruction. Never before has the Priesthood power and authority of God been held in greater numbers upon the Earth. God truly desires to bless the whole of humanity through His Priesthood. It is only through true and living prophets that the Priesthood of God can be administered on Earth. It is the only authority recognized in heaven, the only source for proper baptism or the gift of the Holy Ghost. It was restored to Joseph Smith and that very same Priesthood continues in The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-day Saints, the "Mormons" and nowhere else.

How I live my faith

With the exception of Jesus Christ, no one is perfect. It is through Christ that we all can begin again, and again. Whatever the challenge or struggle we may face from day to day, Christ can build up and strengthen our weaknesses. Through His church He has provided opportunities where, through service, we strengthen each other. Through our local leaders we are asked to teach classes, visit members, work with the youth, speak about gospel topics and so on. At times, I have found these tasks a bit beyond what I thought I was capable of doing. Yet, as I pray for help, understanding or courage and served my best, I have always been able to do what I was asked. This service in the church often leaves me with a greater understanding of what I can do to be a better disciple of Christ. I am currently called to serve local adults and their families. I work to fortify families against the many disturbing trends that tear families apart. I am often overwhelmed by the love that the Lord shows toward those who struggle to keep their families headed in the right direction. I know that I can turn to Him for guidance when I try to teach my kids and help them through difficult times. When we, as husbands and wives, look to Christ and follow His prophet's counsel, our families will grow closer together and closer to God.
