Hi I'm Matt

I call Minnesota home but lived all over the world, I'm married, an electrical engineer, and just moved to Arizona. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am originally from Minnesota though I have lived all over the world. I am the oldest son from a family of five and I have two younger sisters. I became a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints when I was in college. I am was the only member of my family that joined the church. When I finished college I was a missionary for 2 years. Upon arriving back home I went back to college to complete an advanced degree and I met my wife. My wife and I have been married 3 wonderful years. We just moved to Arizona 2 months ago for work. We both enjoy cooking, reading, art, and music. I also enjoy motorcycling and skiing and my wife enjoys shopping and visiting museums.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe in God our Father in Heaven, His Son Jesus Christ, and that they have spoken to prophets again in our times and reorganized Their church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, once again upon the Earth. I became a member of the church 10 years ago. I was going through a time in my life when I was not certain of and had a lot of questions about life and it's meaning and my place in it. Through some very close friends I was given the opportunity to learn of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I read the Book of Mormon and met with the missionaries. I prayed to know that things I had learned were true and I received and answer that they were and I was baptized shortly afterwards. During the last 10 years having the Gospel in my life and being a member of the church has changed me and my life, I have found more joy and happiness then I ever thought possible. I am grateful everyday for this blessing.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by just trying to do the best I can everyday. It's not always easy, but I try to do what I feel Heavenly Father has asked me to do and when I make mistakes I just try again and keep trying. I try my best to be involved at church with activities and callings. I try to love and take care of my wife and make sure that she is provided for in every way. I try to have a good relationship with my family and friends. I work hard at my job and give my best efforts. In the end I think that Heavenly Father is the most concerned with how hard we have tried with what we have been given and if we can say that we have than it will be enough.
