Hi I'm Mike Pacheco

I am a Mormon. My early ancestors came to the new world with the conquistadors and settled Colorado & New Mexico.

About Me

In the early 1970s I served a mission for my church in Peru and Ecuador where I met my wife. We later where married and settled in Colorado raised a family of three children and now have nine grand children living in New Mexico, Washington and Utah. I am nearing the end of my career in Banking and in Commercial Real Estate lending and Investment.

Why I am a Mormon

After being taught by the missionaries my family joined the Church when I was twelve. I have studied the Bible and Book of Mormon, prayed and received a testimony of the truthfulness of the church's gospel message. In addition, after raising our children and successfully navigating through the treacherous teenage years with the church's help I have experienced first hand, God's love for us and have benefited from his protection. Moreover, many times throughout my life the Lord has guided me and answered my prayers.

How I live my faith

My belief in God and the knowledge of his Eternal Plan have sustained me during my life through a successful poIitical career that included servind on a City Council and as Mayor of a City. I have made it a point to guide and support my children in all of their righteous endeavors and have found that the moral teachings that I have received from the Church have helped me to make wise decisions that have led to a life of fulfillment and joy. With the Lord's help I have survived coronary by-pass surgery and prostate surgery and continue to enjoy each moment of my life surrounded by a loving wife, wonderful children and their spouses and special grandchildren.
