Hi I'm Careena

I am an only child, student, a future educator, and a Mormon.

About Me

I am a full time student, majoring in Elementary Education, with hopes to become a guidance counselor one day. I work part time at a daycare, and I love the children and babies that I work with. They make my day much brighter. I am an only child, and a dog owner. She is a doberman named Cashy. I love to read, although rarely do so.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I choose to be. While I did grow up in the Church, it was not forced upon me. I was free to chose to believe and to participate in all that comes along with being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I love the feelings I get when I am at church, and the relationship I have been able to form with my Heavenly Father, and my Savior Jesus Christ. I also love that it is continuing to grow more and more each day as I am attentive and faithful to them.

How I live my faith

I participate with the youth in the church. Particularly with the 12 and 13 year old girls. They have been and are still teaching me much more than I knew before. I hope that I am returning the favor to them. While working with the youth, I am able to help plan, and coordinate activities for the youth that are fun and get them out of their shells a little bit.

Are Mormons Christians?

Of course! Jesus Christ is the foundation of the church. We respect him by even including his name in the title: The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. We believe that Christ is our Savior and Redeemer, and we try to live the ways that he taught us by example. Show more Show less
