Hi I'm Bobbi Jo

I am a wife, mother, massage therapist and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife, mother of 5, a massage therapist and master body worker. I enjoy spending time with my family, crafting, cooking, reading, cleaning and learning more about massage therapy.

Why I am a Mormon

25 years ago on a December evening I got home from another date feeling depressed and just not happy with the way my life was. I had fallen away from the church due to my parents not being active and I wasn't influenced to go to church anymore. I had got home and started praying about what I should do to get my life on the right track. That night I knew I needed to start back to church and things would fall into place. I started back to church with my youngest brother and his family. In March my brother Mark, thought it would be good for me to go to church with people closer to my age. I met a guy who they had met that was on his mission at this time back east where they were living. We met and went out the following week. We went out the next Friday. The following Friday he asked me to marry him. We have been married for over 24 years. We are best friends and true companions.

How I live my faith

I am the ward cannery specialist a calling (this is a job that we are called to by our Bishop after much prayer.) I love this calling I get to talk with the other members of the ward the importance of having our food supplies together to be prepared for whatever comes along. I enjoy talking with people about how the gospel has changed my life and brought happiness to me. The gospel gives me peace in knowing there is Heavenly Father who loves me and will guide me. With the gospel in my life there is an understanding that we can be a family forever if we do what we are told to. That we can be forgiven and that when we pray he hears our prayers. He listens to us and loves us and wants us to be happy.

What is the Mormon lifestyle like? How do Mormons live?

Bobbi Jo
Being a person of the LDS faith we are to live according to the gospel of God. We pray, read our scriptures privately and as a family, we having one night a week, usually Mondays that we have Family Home Evening. This is where we usually have a short lesson or family counsel or both, meet as a family and enjoy being together. We attend our meetings and fulfill our callings in the church. Show more Show less
