Hi I'm Brent

I'm a husband, a father, a business man, a sports enthusiast, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love my family! I have a beautiful wife and two wonderful children, and everything I do revolves around them. Each day is a new adventure with a young family, and I truly cherish each moment with them and am grateful for such rich blessings in my life. In my spare time, I have a career in business where I love to innovate, problem solve, and build relationships. I strive each day to show genuine love and kindness to everyone, and am most fulfilled when helping others succeed. When I'm not spending time with my family or working, my passion is sports. I was raised in a very loving and supportive family. My parents instilled in me a positive outlook in life and the ability to see the good in everything and everyone around me. I have two brothers and a sister who are tremendous examples of Christ-like love and devotion. Growing up, we were as close a family as one could find, and I am thankful for those tight bonds which still provide strength and peace in my life today. Now, as I have my own family, I'm grateful for a sweet wife and children with whom to cultivate that same unity and love. In addition to the influence of my family, sports has had a tremendous impact on my life. Through sports, I learned hard work, self discipline, team work, and sacrifice. But most importantly, I learned that we must rely on others to reach our true potential and succeed. Likewise in life, we must rely upon family, friends and the people around us to be the best that we can be.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because I love Jesus Christ. Growing up, my parents instilled in me a sincere desire to love the Lord and follow His teachings. From a very young age I have known that I am a child of God, that He loves me and desires my happiness. As I've gotten older I've felt and seen His influence, whether at critical junctures in my life or during simple, quiet moments of reflection. I've also realized that in a life filled with many blessings and challenges, there is no greater source of comfort and peace than our Divine Redeemer, who knows and loves each one of us personally. For that reason, my relationship with the Savior brings great comfort and peace to me, and more importantly, provides the beacon of light that guides my path. Now, as a husband and father, I rely upon the principles of the gospel to govern my life and influence how I raise my family. I am so grateful for a wife who shares my same love and conviction for the Savior, as we strive to instill this knowledge and love in our own children.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by demonstrating my love for the Savior through my actions each day. I strive to set a good example as a disciple of Jesus Christ by serving my fellow man, treating others with kindness, being honest and genuine, and setting out each day to have a happy countenance and be a positive influence. I work with the youth in our congregation and try to teach them principles of discipline, responsibility, honesty, and integrity. But most importantly, I share with them my testimony of Jesus Christ and help them to come to the knowledge that He truly is our Savior and Redeemer. I hope that those around me recognize my sincere devotion, and recognize the impact my faith has on my life. I know I am blessed each day as I strive to improve myself and draw closer to the Lord.
