Hi I'm Jason

I'm a full time missionary heading to Dallas, Texas, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am now a full time missionary for La Iglesia de Jesucristo de los Santos de los Ultimos Dias. I am serving in the Texas Dallas Spanish speaking mission and love this work. Right now, I devote everything to being a missionary. No school, no other jobs, no dating, nothing outside of this amazing work. I teach others and help them build their relationship with God and Jesus Christ and am blessed so much to be able to tell everyone about God's love for each and every person. This work is amazing, this church is true, and I am happy to freely give God two years of my life to help others have the amazing blessings He has seen fit to bless me with in my life.

Why I am a Mormon

Having been born into this church, people sometimes think I only am a part of this church because of my parents and how I was raised. While this certainly has helped, I have gained my testimony of this church through my own studying and personal prayer. I remember having doubts, not being sure about why I could and could not do certain things, and trying to find out about this church for myself. As I got closer and closer to getting ready to fill out my mission papers, as I spent more time reading the scriptures and spent my time in places where I could feel the Spirit, I was able to understand the truths of my church. I was able to gain my own testimony of the truthfulness of this gospel. I learned for myself that there needed to be a restoration of Christ's true church on the Earth and that Joseph Smith saw God the Father and Jesus Christ as a young boy of 14, and he truly was called of God to bring forth the truth and to be the first prophet of this dispensation. Joseph Smith's testimony has always helped me and I have found strength in his example. A man could not have gone through the persecution and trials that he did leading to his eventual martyrdom for anything less then bringing forth this great truth that I have been blessed with a knowledge of. Another thing that is an important truth to me I have because of this great church is the Plan of Salvation, and families. I love my family, they are some of the most amazing people I know. My mother is a great example to me, and she always has been, even when she was younger. Helping introduce my father to the church, my mother gave my family an amazing gift, and gave us the chance to be together forever. Being able to be with my family forever, because of my parents great example and temple marriage, is a great blessing in my life. I would not give two years of my life for anything less then the true church, for anything less then my loving Father in Heaven, and I can't wait to serve him with all I am.

How I live my faith

I live my faith right now by serving a mission. A mission is when a member of the church gives God back a certain about of time, for 19 year old young men it is two years, and spend all of those two years teaching others about God's love for them, helping them develop their relationship with Jesus Christ our Savior, and serving others in any way that they might need. Serving a mission is the best choice I could possibly make, and being able to share my faith with others helps change my faith into knowledge. I live my faith by spending 16 hours a day learning about God and His words, teaching others about this, and loving. I love this work, and I love being able to share this great blessing with all of God's children.

What are Mormon Temples used for?

Temples are an amazing part of this church. They provide many blessings, such as being able to help those who didn't have the chance to join the church to have the choice of joining God's true church in the next life through baptisms for the dead. We also have the chance to be married in the temple to another worthy member and to be able to be sealed to them for time and all eternity, so that we can always have them, as well as our family, with us forever. Many people thing we are secretive about all that goes on in the temple, and in some ways we are, but it's not so much a secret as it is something sacred, something so important and spiritual that it needs to stay in the confines of the temple.
