Hi I'm Kristina

I am married to the funniest person on earth. I have three magnificent children. I am an athlete and a teacher. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am orginally from Wyoming, where I DIDN'T ride a horse to school! From a young age I loved sports and this has been a huge passion of mine my whole life. I spent lots of time running at track meets and playing in gyms. I come from a family of 6 children and parents who taught me to appreciate what I have, to work hard, and to love my family. Attending college after high school was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I attended on a basketball scholarship. This opportunity allowed me to learn how to work with many different kinds of people, it gave me the opportunity to travel to places I had never been, and it allowed me to gain a college education. Soon after I graduated from college I married my soul mate and we have three wonderful children who keep us on our toes. I love to spend time with my family~ we love to ski, camp, play outside and we love to laugh together. We love the Rocky Mountains and try to be outside whenever we can. I love to sing along with the radio and I love laughing. I am scared of flying, snakes, and black widows. I dream of completing a triatholon and visting England with my husband.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because being a mormon makes me happy. Being a mormon gives me hope and peace. I love knowing that I am a daughter of a loving Heavenly Father who knows me individually and has a plan for just me. I love knowing that my family can be together forever. Although being a member of the church since I was 8, I didn't know for myself that the church was true until I was 19. After leaving home and attending college far from everything that was familiar and comfortable, I was tried and tested in ways I never had been before. This is when I begin to gain a real testimony of my Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, and of the Holy Ghost. I was able to pray to my Heavenly Father for strength during this difficult time in my life and my prayers were answered. My life crossed path with many wonderful people who helped me gain my own testimony of this wonderful gospel. Now that I am a mother, I love that I can teach my children about the plan of salvation and our purpose here on earth. My family is forever and that knowledge gives me faith, hope, and peace.

How I live my faith

Currently I serve as the leader for the girls youth program in our ward. I am in charge of organizing activities and teaching the youth of our church more about the gospel. I love working with the youth. It has increased my faith in the gospel to watch these teenagers chose good over evil. They are a wondeful example to me and my family. As I serve other members of our church, my life is enriched and blessed.
