Hi I'm Mya

I am a native to Arizona. I am a mother of 4 children and I am an optician. I love dancing! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother of 4 children. 1 boy and 3 girls. I had decided I wanted to have my children before I turned 30. I now look at that and think what a crazy Idea. I had them all by the time my oldest was seven. What a crazy time that was in my life. I look back and think of that time and wonder how I did it. I even miss those times! My whole life I feel like I had to work hard for all the things I have. Nothing came easy! I decided to take on working my own business when the kids were little to make ends meet. This way I could still be home with my kids and help with the finances. I love dancing so I ran a small dance group. Doing what I love made it not so hard to look forward to doing it, and my kids just came along with me. I am no longer doing that since my husbands career changes moved us to another city. I did some babysitting when we moved, to afford me to stay home with my kids again. I felt that is is so important if you can, to do what I could to be home with my kids as much as possible. Once my kids were all old enough to go to school I decided to work for an eye Dr. I started doing all his medical billing. As time passed I started to learn the ins and out of his company. I optician, medical billing, I even make lenses for glasses. I worked it to where my schedule is morning till I need to get my kids from school. I am truly blessed and feel the Lords blessing everyday for the sacrifices I made to try to be with my kids as much as I can.

Why I am a Mormon

When I had my last child there were a lot of complications. She was coming 4 1/2 weeks early and breach. After all the tests the baby was coming and she looked good, and my Dr was up for me having her. I had little concerned for her, I was more concerned for me at the time because we were not having a C-Section. After she was born the nurses rushed her off to the ICU. She wasn't breathing well. The Dr were not sure that she was going to make it. I think that this is were I realized that without the gospel in my life I would not have made it through this rough time. I prayed with all the breath that I had left in me to keep her here with me. I know that there was nothing that I could do but pray and pray that she would pull thru. I would visit her as much as I could through the next few weeks. There were many scary times. Sometime they would call us and tell us to come see her she wasn't doing good. I could not have done it if it wasn't for all the help from the women in the church to help with my other kids. Just another reason I am a Mormon. I love the lord and thank him everyday for keeping my youngest daughter with me. She pulled through and she is healthy as can be. It is tough time that I go through that remind me why I am Mormon.

How I live my faith

How I live my Faith? I Try my best to live it everyday. I try to follow the the commandments and Listen to the spirit to guide me in every decision I make. I go to church every Sunday. I do that because when I don't go I feel different that week. Like something is missing. I feel that my kids need to be there. The principles that are taught there give my children a chance to make it in this world, where the choice they have to make get harder and harder. Even though we are not perfect on anything, and struggle to do all the things the Lord has asked us to do, I strive everyday to do what I know is right. I have the wonderful opportunity to work with the the girls ages 12-13 right now. I love it! All of my efforts are volunteer only. We meet once during the week and on Sundays. We do many fun activities, while teach them about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Right now we are starting softball and I get to coach! This is such a great time to get the girls to work together and learn how to work as a team. Especially if there are families who cant afford to put their kids on a team, and they never get the chance to play a sport. Its all free! Who doesn't like that. I love my Life! I love the church! I love my Faith! I love the Lord and am thankful that I am Mormon.
