Hi I'm Dr. Alan Hoskins

I am an adoptive parent. A Doctor of Chiropractic and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was raised a member of the church, experiences in my teens started a desire in me to serve a mission. I served for two years in the Seattle Washington Mission, where I learned and grew so much both mentally and spiritually. I developed a stronger love of the gospel of Jesus Christ and solidified my faith. I married an incredible woman and after 17 years of marriage and a ton of schooling we adopted our son who was with us for 14 months as a foster child. I enjoy spending time with my family, sports, hunting, fishing, paintball, rc planes and helicopters and making things. I'm a Doctor of Chiropractic and love helping others improve their health and lives.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because of a personal witness to me of the truthfulness of the gospel. When I was around 19 years old I had many experiences that bore witness to me of the truth and helped me to develop an unshakable faith in the gospel of Jesus Christ. Knowing that families can be together forever and having my adopted son sealed to my wife and I forever means so much to me that I cannot describe it!

How I live my faith

Currently I am the Cubmaster in my ward. I help each Sunday with interpreting for the deaf. In the past I have taught classes for all ages from 5 years old on up and various positions in the scouting program.

Can a husband and wife be together forever? Do Mormons believe that families will live together in heaven?
