Hi I'm Daniel

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to play soccer. All of my four older brothers played and taught me to love the game. Although soccer is my favorite sport, I love playing basketball, walleyball, and athletics in general. I am a sophomore in high school. I love history although I am better at math. I have two parents and I have five siblings, four brothers and one sister, of which I am the youngest. I love to spend time with my family and love them very much. I play soccer and run track at my high school. I try to keep a good GPA in order to go to college. I love my church. I believe in second chances. I love Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I love my church. It teaches that no matter what background somebody comes from, there can be change, and forgiveness. I was born into the church, but I am, like all, imperfect. I love that the church encourages people to repent and move forward. There are few people who are less judgmental than people I know in the church. I love the fact that we believe God still talks to us in modern times. I love that we have a modern day prophet. I love that people are asked to serve in positions in the church without pay. I love that we believe that families are the most important thing. I love the doctrines of the church. I love that thousands of young adults nineteen years old choose to serve a two year mission, and I look forward to doing the same. I love the people in the church. I love that once a month we have a meeting devoted to people sharing there testimonies of the gospel of Jesus Christ. That is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I go to my church every Sunday I can. I go to youth activities on Tuesday nights. Since I am the leader of the kids my age I go to meetings in which I try to determine what to do for activities and how I can help those my age. My dad and I are assigned to visit two families every month to check how they are doing. They feel they can ask us for help if needed, and my dad and I would do likewise if the need arose. We leave a spiritual thought before leaving the house. I try to read the scriptures every day, as well as pray many times a day. I believe the only way in which to gain a testimony for one's self is by reading the scriptures and asking for yourself if they are true. I try to keep spiritually in touch throughout the week. Before school starts every day I go to a church class in which we discuss and learn about the scriptures. I try to live everyday in touch with what God would want me to do.
