Hi I'm Michelle

I'm an Ohioan and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Madrid, Spain. My a family has moved from Spain to Utah to California and finally Ohio. I was raised in the the Church. I love running, reading and music.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because even though I was raised in the Church, when I was a young teenager I decided to determine for myself if the church was true. I am a Mormon, because this is Christ's church restored again on the Earth.

How I live my faith

I attend Church at the University Single's Ward on Ohio State University's campus. I am currently serving there as a ward missionary and have served as a Sunday School teacher, and also worked in our women's organization.

Why is it important for us to take care of our bodies? Why are our bodies called temples of God in the Bible?

Michelle
Our bodies and our spirits comprise the soul of a person. Whatever we do to our bodies we do to our spirits. We obey the Word of Wisdom, which includes not intaking harmful or addictive substances in order to preserve our connection with the Holy Spirit. By avoiding these harmful substances we are better able to live the principles of the gospel, kindness, compassion, patience, and are able to live a Christ-centered life. Show more Show less

Are Mormons Christians?

Michelle
Yes! We are Christians. Christ is the cornerstone of our religion. We believe Christ is the Savior of the World, and it is only through his grace that we are saved, after all we can do. He is our savior, our redeemer, our brother, our friend. Show more Show less
