Hi I'm Jamie

I am a wife and mother. I am a daughter of God and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love being a wife and stay at home mom. I am the lucky mother of four beautiful children who keep me on my toes. I served an LDS mission for a year and a half in Houston, Texas. I believe in whole foods and good nutrition. I believe in essential oils, herbs and natural medicine. I learned to enjoy running but I am NOT a morning person. I love to shop garage sales, thrift stores and go clearance shopping. I enjoy hearing my children laugh, spending time with my family, playing games, camping and traveling.

Why I am a Mormon

I am grateful for the peace and direction that can be found in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I know that God lives. I know that He loves me. I am grateful for my Savior, Jesus Christ. God prepared a plan for us to return to live with Him again someday. He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to prepare the way. He knew that we would make mistakes and prepared the Savior to help us overcome sin. Through the Atonement of Jesus Christ, we can be cleansed of our sins and return to live with God again someday. I know that the fullness of His gospel can be found in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. This is His church. It IS TRUE! It is led by Him through a true and living Prophet of God, President Thomas S. Monson. The Book of Mormon is the word of God and will give one a greater understanding of our Savior, Jesus Christ, His gospel and the love He has for each one of us. He knows each one of us and has paid the price of sin so we too could have the blessings of eternal life. The gospel of Jesus Christ gives us peace, hope, and prepares us for the eternal blessings our Father in Heaven has waiting to give us.

How I live my faith

I try to stay true to my Faith by the way I live my every day life. I pray to my Father in Heaven daily, several times a day. I find strength and understanding by reading my scriptures. I attend church each week and help organize monthly activities for girls ages 8-11. I attend the temple often and try to share the gospel with others by inviting them to read, ponder and pray about the Book of Mormon. I can promise you, when you do this with a sincere heart, the Holy Ghost will witness the truth of the Book of Mormon to you. I know it is the word of God. I know this is His church and I am grateful for the blessings this gospel gives me.
