Hi I'm Lauren Stott

I'm a triplet. My sisters and I grew up in a small valley in the mountains. I love adventures! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the second child in a family of 6. My dad is a very skilled carpenter and truck driver, and my mom is a quilter. My older brother is in the armed forces. Finally, my two "younger" sisters and I are triplets! It's like always have two best friends! =D We even have our own special language called the "We-Speak". Our life has an adventure around every corner! Some things we love to do together are to sew, cook, read books, watch movies, play games, go on camping trips, and have fun! Some things I personally love is art, singing, drawing/painting, dancing, and acting! I also love making my own clothing, and well, just making things! I love to explore new places too! If there is an adventure to be had, I am game! With adventure lurking around every corner, it's hard not to have fun. My friends have termed me the adventure ninja. I am a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was born, my family was Mormon. I grew up learning the lessons and hearing the gospel. I learned early about Christ. Because I grew up in the church, I didn't know how to appreciate the beauty and glory of this true gospel. I had to find out for myself. So, for what felt like a long time, I prayed and I read the scriptures, seeking an answer. What I hadn't realized is that I already did know. In fact, I didn't know that I knew it until a friend asked me one day if I really did believe in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I said yes. It was that simple. I know this church is true. I could feel a burning in my chest and I felt like all of my senses were heightened. I know this church is true. Without a doubt. I have felt the influence of it in my life. God loves me, and I know it.

How I live my faith

This is my favorite part! Because God is our Heavenly Father and loves us so much, he has given us guidelines to keep us safe! I try my best to follow his commandments and to become more like Him. I am currently serving as a volunteer missionary in Japan. I have freely given a year and a half to serve God and His Son Jesus Christ. I have taken a break from school and work so I could devote all of my time to Him. In the course of my time here, I have learned how to speak Japanese so I can share the joy I feel from following Jesus Christ. Besides that, I pray daily and study the Book of Mormon another Testament of Jesus Christ, and other scriptures. I seek to have the Lord guide and direct me daily.
