Hi I'm angel

I grew up in Colorado i was converted in October 2009 i work for King Soopers and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

i'm Angel and i have one child, a beautiful boy and i have a wonderful husband. i got married young and to alot of people in was "stupid", but i love it. i play violin as a hobby and i love golf. i know i sound geeky but before these last two years i was really depressed and mad at the world and my family changed that. i don't know if you could find anyone happier.

Why I am a Mormon

i met my husband in high school and he was always trying to get me to go to church with him. i thought here is just another person trying to shove their religion on me. it wasn't till i had moved out of my mom's house that i truly gave it any thought. one day we were watching t.v ,and my life had really taken a turn south and we were really struggling, the missionaries came to our door not knowing my husband was a member and asked to come in. i sat down with them and really started talking to them and asking them questions and i began to feel the spirit. about a few months later i decided that i would be baptized and join the church. it was the best choice i could have made. we still have our trials but i know that when i pray to our heavenly father he hears us and wants to help us. now since then i have been sealed to my family for eternity in the Temple and just thinking about that blows my mind. how many people can say that they will see their family after this life. i hope i've helped you in understanding about me and i invite you to ask questions and come visit us.

How I live my faith

after joining the church i was asked to teach a class every other Tuesday to the girls ages 8-11. i thought i really don't like kids that much are you sure. so i started and these girls are so amazing. they are smart and always participate and they all get along. we teach out of a book called, Faith In God, and we plan lessons and prepare and it really taught me how to be open and accepting. seeing these girls so committed and wanting to learn makes me look at them like young women and not children. looking back i thank my church leaders for giving me this calling even though i didn't want it. I've grown and learned from these girls what its like to live my faith and i really appreciate them.
