Hi I'm Jeannie

I'm a wife, a mother of 2 enthusiastic boys, a personal trainer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

One of my favorite things to do is spend time with friends and family. I genuinely enjoy people and getting to know them. I enjoy exercise in any form, there is a sense of accomplishment that it gives me and invigorates me from the inside out! I like to cook and try new recipes, sew and make necklaces from old fashioned jewelry. I love being a stay at home mom and watching my kids grow and learn. I love going on dates with my husband laughing and having fun with him.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I chose to be. I find that following the plan that my Father in heaven has laid out for me makes life a lot more joyful, then to just wonder around guessing what, and how I should be doing things. I have had too many witnesses of the truthfulness of the gospel to ever deny or go astray from it's teachings. I am so grateful for prayer, having that constant communication with my father in heaven helps me get through my daily life. I am grateful for the scriptures that have been written for us so that I may learn from others strengths and mistakes who lived so long ago and apply the principles to my life. I am grateful for the modern day prophet who lives his life in such a way that he may receive revelation for us today just like in times of old; who warns us of dangers gives precautions and does so much good in the world. I am grateful to be sealed in the temple, for the opportunity that I have to live with my family beyond this life and forever. I am grateful for a father in heaven that loves me enough to send his son to atone for my mistakes and rise that I might live again. I am grateful for my savior Jesus Christ and his life long sacrifice to show me the way in hopes that I would follow him and return to live with my father in heaven again. I love the gospel of Jesus Christ and hope that I can live my life in a way that others will want to know Christ because they know me.

How I live my faith

I am currently assigned to visit 3 women in our ward once a month, it is such a pleasure getting to know them and feeding off of their energy. I am also a nursery singing leader, I go in and sing with little kids from 18 months to 3 years of age. It can be trickery sometimes to hold their attention for the 10 minutes that I am with them but I try to make it fun and exciting. By bringing in props for them to hold, colorful posters, or having them help me lead the music helps to make their experience pleasant. When I was 21 I served a full time mission in the country of Bolivia. I gained a strong love for my savior and my fellow men and the gospel while serving and got to know myself better than at any other time in my life. Now my mission is to be a mother, serving and teaching my children the gospel of Jesus Christ. I do look forward to some day serving another full time mission with my husband!
