Hi I'm Lisa

I am a wife and a mother. I love the outdoors and sunshine. I am passionate about families. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife and mother and love every minute of it! We have one amazing little boy and we're in the process of adoption :) I went to college and studied Sociology and Psychology. I have dealt with infertility for a long time and have become very passionate about health and learning as much as I can about my body. I love to serve and enjoy helping at my son's school. I have a large family and enjoy any time that we are able to get together. I enjoy crafting, being outdoors, going to the movies and hanging with friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of this Church my entire life. But I can say that I, too, had to be converted. I have learned so much through my life about forgiveness, repentance, love, kindness, service and eternal families. I know that this Gospel is true for I have seen it work in my own life. I have moved over 20 times and it is so comforting to have a ward family wherever I go. I am grateful for the promptings I have received through my Heavenly Father to be able to discern between right and wrong, good and evil. I know that my Father in Heaven knows me and loves me and has a plan for me in this life. I may not always understand it but every path He leads me down ends up being for my good. I know that He is mindful of me and my family. I know that we have a true and living prophet, President Monson, on the earth today. How grateful I am for him and the council that he gives us. I am so excited to hear the words of our prophet and other general authorities every six months at General Conference. I know that they are inspired and know what the Lord would want us to hear. I love this Gospel with all my heart. I am so grateful to be at peace and to know why I'm here and where I'm going.

How I live my faith

I work with the youth program at Church and LOVE it! The teenagers in this day and age are faced with so much and I am so grateful to work with them and see their testimonies flourish. They give me a sense of strength and I know that the Lord chose them to be on earth during this time. I have worked with the small children as well and I loved hearing their innocence and sweetness about their Father in Heaven and Jesus Christ. The youth of this Church know who they are, where they're going and that they are loved beyond measure. I am so grateful for that!
