Hi I'm Cymrie

I'm a violinist. I love ice cream and movies. I cheer for BYU. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I love music so much, I've decided to major in it. I'm working towards a degree in Violin Performance, which means I practice all the time. Free time? Never. And I love it that way! I've recently started rock climbing as a hobby so I have something to say when people ask me what I like to do for fun. If I wasn't a musician, I'd do something math-y with my life... I love Calculus. I will be serving a mission for the church in Texas from Summer 2016-Winter 2018, and I am beyond excited!

Why I am a Mormon

Being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is something that makes me happy- not in the same way that ice cream and movies make me happy, but in a completely filling, peaceful way. Knowing that my Father in Heaven loves me and has given me the knowledge that this Church has to offer is more than enough to fill my soul with gratitude. I know my purpose. I know my goal. I know my divine heritage. I am a Mormon because I love my Savior, Jesus Christ, and my Father in Heaven, and I know that They want me to be happy and to have the blessings they are constantly sending my way.

How I live my faith

How do I live my faith? That's a tough question. My whole life is centered around my faith. I live my faith through every action. I follow the commandments given by past and current prophets and apostles. I listen to the advice of my elders, especially my parents. I read about Jesus Christ, His ministry, and His example, and I strive to be like Him. I participate in my ward's activities and visit those in need. I attend church every Sunday. I read the scriptures and pray to my Father in Heaven several times a day. I reach out to the friendless. I show love towards the members of my family. My faith is the center of my life. I live it by following Jesus Christ's example.
