Hi I'm Cady

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was recently married in the San Diego temple this year. We are planning to have a family soon and I am looking forward to being a mother. My husband and I work in the medical field and have felt the impact of the economy at our jobs as fewer and fewer people seek medical care, there is actually a decreased need for medical practitioners. Nonetheless, we are fully employed and able to meet our needs and I attribute that in large part to our diligence, hard work and our abilities to have received a valuable education. I went to school several places including BYU, Columbia Basin College, Northern Arizona University and Arizona State University. I enjoy politics, sports, ethics, traveling, going to the beach, reading and watching movies. I am a triplet and I have 4 brothers total.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family of the LDS faith which is how I originally am familiar with the religion. This is not the sole reason why I am a member, because as I matured, I began to question the church and if I was willing to continue making the sacrifices to be a member and also if I really believed in the precepts and the foundations of the church. When I was in high school I determined that I felt the church was true, and that the teachings were correct. I have never left the church or gone astray, although there have been times I have struggled, only on account of inner personal conflict, not just cause that the church was incorrect. I live as a Mormon because I know the church is true and I feel as though it all makes the most sense of any religion.

How I live my faith

I go to church weekly on Sunday for three hours and I have a calling in the ward I attend to teach Primary, which is essentially a Sunday school for children. I teach the 8-9 years old every Sunday. I also live by the teachings daily in my life as well as I am able and strive to live so that I am always able to be worthy to go to the temple. I am also a Visiting Teacher and go once monthly with a message to two ladies in my ward. This program was developed in order that every person in the ward would be individually taken care of if they had needs that arose which they were not alone capable of dealing with. I also pay 10% of my income to tithing and keep that Sabbath day holy. I abstain from alcohol, smoking, drugs, coffee and tea and work hard to keep my physical health at it's best by exercising and eating nutritiously. I am freely happy to answer any questions that others have about my faith without being judgmental and I live as an example for others to see.
