Hi I'm Travis J. Kamper

I'm a Mormon. I grew up in Southern California. I am grateful to be sealed to my beautiful wife and daughter for all eternity.

About Me

I grew up in Southern California. In my youth, like many people, questioned my faith. Through some amazing life changing experiences I grew to love God and his Church. I served a full time mission for the Church in Venezuela. Later I returned to Venezuela and soon married my beautiful wife Jennifer. We moved to the United States and I completed my degree in Economics from Brigham Young University. I have a beautiful daughter who fills my life with a joy that is unparalleled by any feeling I have experienced in my life. I strongly believe that the most beautiful and important thing in this world is the family. I am eternally greatful for the blessing of being sealed to my wife and daughter in a Holy Temple, so that I may be with them for all eternity.

Why I am a Mormon

The Church is an amazing thing. Apart from the beliefs and doctorine there is an amazing social enviroment that engages members and helps them to become better people. I believe that this was the thing that first brought me to truly believe in the Church. Soon I found myself interested in the finer points of doctorine and actively engaged in scripture study. These things along with personal prayer helped me to develop a personal relationship with God and have helped me to build an unshakable testimony that Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world and that through him, all men may attain eternal life.

How I live my faith

It is amazing that though I do not often volunteer the information that I am a member of the Church, people know that I am a member and this opens great opportunities to teach others about my beliefs. I strive to help others. I am kind and caring. I try to be honest in all that I do. I know that by doing these things others see something that is rare in this world in me.
