Hi I'm Marvin W. Coleman

I'm a Mormon. I grew up in a small town in lower Michigan. I love to play golf.

About Me

I was raised in a small town in lower Michigan and upon graduation I moved to Chichago and began working for the Bell System. I worked there over 33 years. After retirement my wife and I moved to Arizona, and I became a Golf Professional spending the next 11 years as the Head Golf Professional at a local country club. Currently I am the owner of a small data business; we install Voice and Data systems for Wal Mart stores when they remodel. I love to play golf and my wife and I really like living in the Southwest.

Why I am a Mormon

I have attended many churches and I now believe the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the only completly true Church on earth. My wife and I were baptised in 1997 and a year later we were sealed together for all time and eternety. As a membeer of this church I believe I can return to my heavenly Father. I did not believe that was possible in any other churches I attended. I testify to you that the Church is true, that Joseph Smith is a Prophet of God and through him the church was restored in this dispensation. I know the Book of Mormon to be true, and that we have a living Prophet on earth today, our beloved Thomas S. Monson. I say this humbly in the name of our Savior and Redeemer Jesus Christ. AMEn

How I live my faith

In my life, I love to do service for others, anyone I meet. When I'm asked to serve in this church, it's not a burden; I just do it. I feel good about the things I'm asked to do. It makes me feel good about the church and what I do there. I try to do all of the things that will bring me closer to Heavenly Father. I attend my Church meetings, and feel the most important thing I can do is to partake of the Sacrament each Sunday to be forgiven of my Sins and to renew the covenants I made with Heavenly Father.
