Hi I'm Lisa

I'm a wife. I'm a mother. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've been married to my best friend for 18 years. I am the mother of four really great kids. I love to spend time with family and friends. I love traveling and eating out. I love it when I get a chance to dive into a really good book, especially if it's in the mountains or on the beach!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the Mormon church. But that is not the reason why I'm a Mormon today. I'll always remember the day when, at 14 years old, I was praying by myself. I felt surrounded by the love of Heavenly Father. I knew from that moment on that He knew me and loved me individually. The Holy Ghost witnessed to me that the church that I had always belonged to was true. This sustaining love of Heavenly Father has helped me through the challenges of getting an education. marriage, health challenges and raising my family. I am a Mormon because the truths of the gospel of Jesus Christ taught in this church make me happy and hopeful.

How I live my faith

Living my faith is something I try to do everyday. I have found that living the teachings of Jesus Christ make me better at whatever it is that I am doing. I am a better wife. I am a better mother. I am a better friend. I love that the Mormon church teaches that the family is central to Heavenly Father's plan for each of us. My family is the most important thing to me. I am grateful to receive so much support in raising my children. I live my faith by trying to be of service to others whenever I can. I love the opportunity that the church gives me to serve within the church. I have learned so much from getting to know and serving others. Teaching children and youth about the gospel of Jesus Christ also brings a lot of fulfillment to my life. My greatest hope is to pass on a legacy of faith and service to my children.
