Hi I'm Margo

I am a mother, a dancer, a costume designer, a medical assistant and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother of 3 mostly grown children and thought that I would be settled and secure at this time in my life but that is not the case. Every 5-10 years there has been some sort of upheaval in my life, just recently I went back to school to learn a whole new career. I have learned that we are not defined by what we do or the challenges we face but by who we are inside and how we meet the challenges that life has given us.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member all of my life. At many times in my life I have received a confirmation from the Holy Spirit that the gospel as taught by the LDS church is the truth. The teachings of the restored gospel give me strength and comfort in a world that is increasingly chaotic. I take comfort in knowing that our Father in heaven and Jesus Christ know me and love me, that I have a purpose, and in knowing what the Lord expects of me.

How I live my faith

I have tried to make my faith a part of my everyday life. Each choice I make is informed by my faith in the promises of the Lord. Being obedient to his commandments is not a hardship but a joy. One of the ways I show my obedience is to serve in a church calling. I am currently teaching music to the children in our ward. I love it! I see their sweet spirits and joy of learning as we discuss the meanings of the words and learn the melodies. Over the years I have served in many capacities; with the youth (teenagers), in the women's organization, taught in sunday school, etc., I have enjoyed every one of them but children's chorister is my favorite (so far).
