Hi I'm Liz

I grew up in New Jersey, and moved to Arizona at age 12. I have 2 kids. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a stay-at-home-mom of 2 kids. I have a wonderful husband who is a RN whom I have been married to for almost 6 years. I love to read and love learning about other cultures and meeting new people.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the Church, and knew from a young age it was right. I have great parents who taught me right from wrong, and love the gospel with all their hearts. As I have grown older and started my own family, I have realized what an important role it is to be a mother, and to be a good example to them and those around me. My youth leaders and my parents were the ones who really helped me gain my testimony of the gospel that has never left me! I know this Church is true. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet and saw Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I know that if we follow Christ's example, we can inspire those around us also to be better. I love this Gospel with all my heart. I know that the scriptures are inspired from God to help us in our daily life, no matter how old the words are. I know that "by small and simple things, are great things brought to pass." It is not always the big events that change our lives, its the small ones; such as reading and pondering our scriptures and the words of our prophets, praying daily for inspiration and help, and trying to be a good example that we can change the world around us!

How I live my faith

I am a Cub Scout leader for the Boy Scouts of America (webelos age). I love teaching the young men and preparing them for the rest of their lives. What we teach them now, will define them and can alter the path they choose. Helping them find talents they enjoy for the rest of their lives are so rewarding. I also visit with the women in our ward. We share experiences in our lives to help enrich and strenghten each other as trials come. We come from all walks of life, and ages but we all have something we can share with others. I have made so many lifelong friends within the church, and now they live all over the world!
