Hi I'm Dallin

I live in Arizona. I'm a high school student, and i love playing music and sports. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm the oldest of 6 kids. I love my family. after school is over, i like to hang with my friends and family. I love to play sports and music. My favorite sport is basketball, but i also like football and track, and I'm on the swim team. I sometimes run with my dad early in the morning and i love doing triathlons. I love watching the Suns, the Cardinals, the Diamond-Backs, and the ASU Sun Devils. Me, my dad, and my brother have had season tickets to ASU games for 7 years. I started music when i turned 8 and my grandma taught me the piano. Since then I've taught myself to play the guitar and the ukulele. I practice the piano 30 minutes a day and the guitar about an hour a day. in Junior High I played the trombone in band.

Why I am a Mormon

I've been blessed to be born into a family that is strong in the church. I've always gone to church so I"ve gotten a good knowledge of the gospel. I love this church because i get to feel the Holy Ghost. The Holy Ghost's presence is the best feeling you could ever have. It's warm, loving, comforting, and is something everyone should experience. I also love the Book of Mormon and all of the powerful teachings, stories, and prophets in the book. My testimony was recently strengthened when I went to EFY this past summer. It was a life changing experience where the spirit was constantly felt, and it reassured me that Heavenly father is our God, his son Jesus Christ came to Earth to die for us, and Joseph Smith was a true prophet and he restored the church so that we could all have it in our lives.

How I live my faith

Every morning and night, I make sure to read my scriptures and say my prayers. This is how I communicate with my Heavenly Father. I go to church every Sunday and listen to what is taught so I can apply it in my own life. At school, I attend Seminary and I try to be a good example and a leader to others. I look out for people if they need help, and I stand up for what is right and what I believe in. I live my life with an attitude that it doesn't matter what I think or what or others think. It only matters what my Heavenly Father thinks. "I will go and do the things which the lord hath commanded." 1 Nephi, 3:7
