Hi I'm Susan

Im a wife, mother, grandma, entreprenuer, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My favorite thing in life is my family. I have been married 32 years, and have 5 daughters, and 12 grandkids. I love that my children love to hang out with me. My husband is my best friend. I would say I have done a good job molding him. haha. He, in return would probably say the same thing about me. Im a normal girl that loves crafts, shopping, and a great reasturant. My husband and I are the founders of Cold Stone Creamery. We have always loved owning our own buisness. Hard times and good times in doing so. I have been a Mormom my whole life. I had to gain my own testimony however. It took me until I was in my twenties to really know for myself that the church was true.

Why I am a Mormon

When I think about where I would be in my life without the church it really scares me. I look around at what is going on in the world, and what is accepted is very crazy to me. This religion has helped me raise my children. It doesnt force me to be a certain way, but has helped me to be a better wife and mother. There is a peace that comes from doing whats right. I guess thats what motivates me. I have been in both places in my life, and I chose this. I have learned that my Savior loved me enough to die for me. I have felt my Heavenly Fathers love for me. I know that He would not leave me here on this earth to figure things out for myself. He gave us a prophet and apostles, to guide us. I need all the help I can get.

How I live my faith

I have served in many callings in the church. Its amazing how service has helped me in so many ways. Currenty I am serving in the womens organization. Its called Relief Society. I am over all the women in my area (Ward), and absolutley love it. I have had the opportunity to get to know each woman. The funny thing about my calling is that I was terrible with remembering names. Now I know all of these sweet women. I am so grateful to get to serve them and my Heavenly Father.
