Hi I'm Chase

I'm the fifth of ten kids in my family. I'm 19 years old and graduated college to be a personal watercraft mechanic. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have nine siblings. The three oldest are married, but the rest of us still have to constantly clean the house. Some of my interests are working on and riding Jet Skis and Sea Doos, riding go karts on and off road, and working on my car. I'm going to college to learn how to repair and fix personal watercrafts while taking academics. My favorite sport is football. I played in junior high and then stopped because of the time it took up in high school. I participated on a ballroom dance team for a year which was a lot of fun. I love being outdoors, especially when it's sunny. I have been in Boy Scouts for most of my life and just recently acheieved my Eagle which was a big accomplishment in my life. Lastly, I like to hang out with my friends and have fun!

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the Church all my life. I was baptized at age 8 and recieved the Holy Ghost which is when I gained a strong testimony that the Church was true because of what I felt that day. I have always remembered that day which helps my remain steadfast and immovable in the gospel. Over the years of learning and growing in the gospel, I have come to know for myself that Jesus Christ atoned for our sins and died for us so that we may return to live with Him again. I know that Joseph Smith saw Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ in the Sacred Grove when he was the age of 14. I know that he is a prophet of God and that he was given the power to translate the Book of Mormon and to restore the gospel to this earth. I know that we have a prophet on this earth today, Thomas S. Monson, who leads and guides this Church by the power of God. I know that the Holy Ghost is real, and that he helps us make righteous decisions and helps us go in the right direction in our life. I also know that if we keep the comandments of God and live worthily, that we can return to live with heavenly father and recieve eternal life and exhaltation. I know that the priestood is the power of God and it lets us have the power to perform sacred ordinances on the earth. I know that the Book of Mormon is true, and that it can help us with any questions or trials that we may have. I know these things without any doubt in my mind and with this testimony that I have, I can help others to know of the same things which can bless them as it has blessed me.

How I live my faith

I go to church every sunday and I help prepare and bless the Sacrament. I go to the youth classes in church and I help organize and plan activities for the young men in my ward. I go home teaching with my dad to a few less active families in our ward to teach them and see how they are doing. I also go to early morning seminary, which is a church class in the morning before school to help you learn more about the scriptures, and to helps give you strength to remember the gospel through the day.
