Hi I'm Mark

I grew up in Oregon, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was raised a Mormon in a family of 7 boys and my parents. That said I also have foster sisters and an adopted sister. I served an LDS mission to Italy about 20 years ago and since then I have served in the Army, gotten married to a wonderful wife, and I have been blessed with 3 wonderful children. Of my 3 children there are 2 boys and 1 girl. My oldest is autistic and has defined a lot of my life as he was an only child for 10 years. We had another son and a year later he was diagnosed with neurological cancer and an autoimune disorder listed as OMS. He is also autistic but with the Lord's help he has beaten the other 2. In the middle of our trials with our 2nd son our daughter was born. As I am aging I find that I am continuing to learn about how the Lord has really influenced my life. He has been my support and continually influences my decisions through inspiration and example.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that this is the only Church that has been established by Jesus Christ Himself. There is a lot of good in all religions and also in individuals that don't belong to any denomination, and we believe that all have the right to choose for themselves. I choose to take the higher road and

How I live my faith

I am a Husband, Father, Priesthood holder, Sunday School Teacher, Scout Master and Friend. I believe that we all need to help each other in finding our way through this life.
