Hi I'm Whitney

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a full time student at the university and I work as a chiropractic assistant. I am studying Kinesiology and Nutrition and Healthy Living. I am a health nut and an outdoor enthusiast. I love to dogs, camping, running, hiking, biking, wakeboarding and I love to play all sports. I also enjoy music and traveling! I love my friends and mostly my wonderful family. I have three sisters and we are all best friends! I have been so blessed and couldn't ask for anything more.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the church. Though there comes a time though when you need to know why you believe what you do. This time for me came before I had an opportunity to serve a full-time mission for the church. I needed to have the confirmation that what I would be teaching to other people was the truth. I had felt the spirit of the Lord many times growing up, but I wanted a strong confirmation of my beliefs. I did receive an answer to my prayers. I can personal witness that the Lord answers prayers; he gave me the confirmation I was seeking and I received it throughout my mission. I served in Puerto Rico where I had the opportunity to serve and teach many wonderful people and strengthen my own personal testimony of Christ. I know without a doubt that this is the truth. I have had the opportunity to study other faiths and it has strengthened my convictions about what I believe to be true. I am a Mormon because my Heavenly Father has confirmed to me through the sweet and indescribable feelings of His Spirit that this is His restored gospel on the earth with the power to help me qualify to live again with Him and with my eternal family.

How I live my faith

I try daily to follow the example of my Savior through service. I have the opportunity to hold a responsibility in the ward that I attend. I am a single adult and attend a ward with other singles. I get to serve a specific group of individuals by planning activities, visiting and getting to know new members, as well as those individuals who don't have the opportunity to attend church often. I also have two specific sisters in the ward that I get to go and visit with at least once a month. I love these opportunities to serve because I truly grow to love these people. I feel that every time I perform a service I am equally blessed through others and the Lord, if not more so. My Savior has done so much for me and I feel blessed to be able to help those around me who are in need.
