Hi I'm Katie

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a stay at home mom of 3 wonderful children. I love volunteering at their school and helping the teachers any way that I can! My youngest is still at home and is in a pre-school co-op with other moms and kids in our area. I was just called as the Relief Society second counselor and love my calling already! I love doing crafts and making hair bows for my daughter and her friends! We are a very busy family and I wouldn't change a thing! We have such a great time together!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the Church. I don't know any differently then what I have been taught. I have lived in several different states, traveled to several different countries and have had to decide for myself why I'm a Mormon. I love being a member of His church. I love reading the scriptures to and with my children. I love the peaceful feeling I get when I go to church and hear the lessons. I love that I am accepted for who I am. I know that we are guided by a loving prophet who wants us to live with Jesus again. I have been a recipient of so many blessings that have proven to me that this is the only true church. I love my Heavenly Father and am so grateful for his tender mercies.

How I live my faith

I was just called as a counselor in the woman’s organization. This calling, aside from the Sunday meeting and teachings, is kind of the party planning committee. I love being able to organize get-togethers with the women in our ward and allow us all to better our friendships with each other and also to feel of the spirit of our Heavenly Father. In my calling, not only do we get to plan fun activities, we get to plan service activities, and preparedness activities. We have lots of upcoming plans for canning and food storage and learning to be self reliant. I'm really excited for the ladies in our ward to learn all these fantastic skills!
