Hi I'm Ken Hadland

I was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. I have been a gardener and landscaper all of my life. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a Dad and Grandfather. I have 3 sons and 5 grandsons. My wife and I have been married for 37 years. We love to be around our grandkids and watch them grow. We like to take trips and see new things and places. I enjoy remodeling our 90 year old home and building things.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a convert to the Church. I was baptized in 1999. My wife and I had the littlest missionary. She was a new born with heart problems. My wife was caring for at her job. We got to know her family and were impressed with their love for everyone around them even in their time of trial. The truth of the Gospel has been the reason I was so drawn to our Church. There were so many aspects of the Gospel that answered questions that I always had. The Gospel made sence to me.

How I live my faith

I have been blessed to serve in many callings since I joined the Church. Each time I learn so many new things about the Gospel. The people I work with teach me much. My current calling involves overseeing of the scouts and the primary. It is a much broader calling so I get to meet many more people. For three years I was blessed to oversee the young single adults directly under our Bishop. It was very inspiring to see these young people and the wonderful testimonies that they have. They taught me a lot. I love to attend Church every week and many meetings that I have thoughout the week. The blessings are many.
