Hi I'm Liz

I'm a wife, mom, accounting clerk and student. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife and mother of to the two most adorable children. I also work part time as an accounting clerk and am going to school part time to get my degree in accounting. When I'm not working or studying I enjoy playing with my kids, cooking, and being outdoors. I come from a big family (I'm number 5 of 9 children).

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised Mormon by two wonderful parents. Growing up, I knew the church was true, but relied on the testimony of my parents a lot. I decided to move down to Arizona to live with my aunt (who is not a Mormon), and that is when my testimony really grew. I knew that in a place where nothing was familiar to me, that the church would be. As I studied the Book of Mormon and prayed to know its truth for the first time, my testimony of Christ and the Book of Mormon grew. I knew it was true.

How I live my faith

A big part of living my faith is prayer and studying my scriptures every day. As a family we have made it a priority to study our scriptures and pray daily, and have family home evening every week. I am a welfare specialist. I help those in our ward to become more self-reliant financially. It has been a wonderful blessing to work with my Bishop to help those in need and to get to know those in the ward that I may not have known very well before.
