Hi I'm Brandon

I'm a Mormon, a father, husband, CPA, gardener... I love life! I love Jesus, and the pursuit of truth and knowledge.

About Me

I have always been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. When I was a teenager I was not interested in religion and didn't live in harmony with my faith. After graduating high school I moved away from home and had some experiences that helped to wake me up to the bigger picture of life, are also the impact of the here and now. At that point I decided to get my life in order and serve a mission for the church. I served in the Oregon Eugen Mission and had many faith promoting experiences. After serving a mission I went to college, got married, started a career, and began having a family. Life is wonderful journey.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints has the fullness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I have visited with members of many different faiths, christian and non-christian. Some of the teachings that I don't often find in any other faith is that Families are Forever, that we are literal spirit children of God, and that God is literally a glorified being of flesh and blood.

How I live my faith

I stove to live my faith everyday. Over the past couple months I have been studying faith, and realized that faith is a key to living this mortal life. To me God is literal, he does not speak in sarcasm or joking words. What God says is what he means. I know that by faith in the power and source of all things, God and Jesus, that the physical world we live in is a training environment to help develop faith.

What is the Book of Mormon?

The Book of Mormon is a collection of ancient prophets of the Lord Jesus Christ who lived in the America’s, and covers from 2,500 B.C. to 425 A.D. These prophets were bold in their declaration of who Jesus Christ is, and Jesus’ role in our lives. All these prophets had great faith, and several gave their lives to confirm their testimony of the truth. The Book of Mormon is not a competitive work to the Holly Bible. If a authentic letter from Paul was discovered that he wrote to any of the churches in his day, I would gladly read and ponder the message contained therein just as I do the letters written to the Roman’s, Hebrew’s, Titus’ etc. The Book of Mormon is such an authentic work, though the prophets are not knows as is Paul, Matthew, Mark and so forth their messages testify of Jesus Christ, and is this way stand as a additional witness to the Holly Bible.
