Hi I'm Katie

I'm an educator. I love my family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother of two. I am married to a wonderful man who likes to help me clean. We both come from small towns. We met when we were going to school at BYU. I love spending time with my family. My greatest dream is to be a stay at home mother. I love sewing. I love to read. I also love to do Zumba. I teach young children in my career. I love the age where children still enjoy school. If not able to stay home with my children, teaching is the next best thing.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of the peace it brings to me and the undeniable witness I get every time I think about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I know that my Heavenly Father knows who I am and has a plan for me. My family is the most important thing in my life to me. Knowing that we can be together forever is a pretty amazing detail that I could never deny. Each time I go to church, sing hymns, read the Book of Mormom, or pray to my Heavenly Father I feel a warm feeling of comfort and peace that assures me I am doing something good. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God who recieved revelations from our Him. We also have a prophet who leads and guides us today through the revelations of Heavenly Father. Heavenly Father has a love for us that is unconditional.

How I live my faith

I live my faith in many different ways. One very important way that I live my faith is by teaching my children about it. I want my children to know the same things I do about their Heavenly Father and the home they came from before entering this world. I live my faith my conducting music on Sundays in church. I love the hymns and cherish the opportunity that I have to choose which ones we will sing and to show my appreciation for the wonderful music.
