Hi I'm Kevin

I love being active, making music, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I recently graduated from a two year college. I intend on continuing my coursework at Arizona State University. I work full time for a major company in a position that is challenging, interesting, and rewarding. I love to play and watch all types of sports, as well as play the guitar. I also enjoy using singing and songwriting as a way to express myself and bring joy into my life and the lives of others. I have two amazing parents who have worked every day of my life to give me all the great opportunities I have had. I have one older sister, one twin sister, and one younger sister, as well as a younger brother. Each is unique and holds a special place in our family. I spent two years serving the Lord in Alaska, during a church mission. I shared my testimony of Jesus Christ with all who would listen and offered service to any in need. It was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I believe that life is a gift, faith is an action, and love is essential.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that true joy in this life comes through living the gospel of Jesus Christ. I also know that he died that all mankind may be resurrected and live again after death. This knowledge gives me peace, understanding and direction in my life. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints offers this gospel in its entirety. I am often described by others as being analytically minded. To many this characteristic looks like an obstacle to faith. On the contrary, I believe my nature to question and reason through things leaves me no choice but to humble myself and open my heart to faith. My lack of understanding and desire for knowledge leads me to those answers that come only from God. Again, I know from personal experience that true lasting happiness can not come through any other means than the eternal truths that Jesus and God our father present to us as the gospel. When I strive to live the commandments and principles of the gospel the burdens of life become light and I know that God is near.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by learning the teachings and characteristics of Christ and applying them to my life. I seek opportunities to serve others. I seek learning through prayer and scripture study. I strive to be honest, diligent, and Christlike in dealings with my fellow man. Lastly I always recognize the great blessings granted to me each and every day by God our father. Simply put, I believe that living my faith is best achieved by learning of Christ, standing as a witness of Christ, and ultimately being like Christ.
